Mini-Training: Fabrication in Revit – What You Need To Know

Friday, July 14, 10:00 am - 11:00 am UTC-6

$19.95

“As the climb to LOD 400 and 500 continues, building owners have gotten wise to the power of BIM. They are requesting it with greater frequency and using it throughout the life-cycle of a building in ways that continue to push the boundaries of technology. This, of course, means a higher deliverable for the design team, faster “issue free” installations for the field crew, and with the introduction of fabrication content and export tools in Revit MEP, collaboration between the Engineer and the Contractor is more important than ever before.

We will explore the RME to FAB tools offered in Revit as well as the ITM content and how it can be used and accessed without having the Autodesk fabrication software on your machine. Want to provide your clients with the highest possible deliverable? We will explore how MAJ files are used to provide an LOD 400 or 500 deliverable with a dot RVT file extension!

Learning Objectives
• Review the RME to FAB tools in Revit
• See the new fabrication tools in Revit
• Learn the limitations of the Fabrication Content in Revit
